Frequently Asked Questions

  • If you are interested in working together, the first step is to schedule a free 15-minute consultation. This is a brief conversation where we can connect, talk about what you are looking for, and see whether working together feels like a good fit.

If we decide to move forward, we will schedule ongoing sessions from there.

  • The consultation is a short, no-pressure conversation. It is not a therapy session, but a space to briefly connect, ask questions, and get a sense of whether the fit feels right for both of us.

  • My fee is $250 for a 50-minute session.

  • I am an out-of-network provider and do not bill insurance directly. If your plan includes out-of-network benefits, I can provide a superbill that you may submit for possible reimbursement.

  • I primarily offer in-person sessions in San Diego, CA. I also offer telehealth (virtual) sessions for California residents when appropriate or preferred.

We can discuss what format feels like the best fit during the consultation.

  • I work with adults navigating a range of emotional and relational experiences, including:

    • Childhood and developmental trauma

    • Complex family dynamics

    • Narcissistic or emotionally unsafe relationships

    • Addiction recovery and long-standing coping patterns

    • Anxiety, depression, and emotional overwhelm

    • Grief and loss

    • Life transitions such as divorce or separation

    • Postpartum and motherhood-related experiences

    • Patterns of disconnection from self, emotions, or internal guidance

  • My approach to therapy is integrative, evidence-based, and trauma-informed. Rather than relying on a single modality, I draw from a range of therapeutic approaches based on what feels most supportive for each person’s needs, goals, and readiness.

Depending on what you are navigating, our work may incorporate elements of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, mindfulness, somatic awareness, attachment-based work, and parts-based approaches informed by Internal Family Systems (IFS). I also integrate deeper relational and insight-oriented work to better understand longstanding patterns and experiences.

The focus is always on creating meaningful, sustainable change while supporting greater self-understanding, emotional wellbeing, and more connected relationships.

  • Yes. A Good Faith Estimate outlining expected costs is available upon request for all self-pay clients, in accordance with federal requirements.

  • This work tends to be a good fit if you are:

    • Open to exploring deeper patterns over time

    • Interested in consistent, ongoing therapy

    • Willing to be honest and curious about your internal experience

    • Looking for more than short-term coping strategies

  • Therapy with me is a collaborative and relational process.

We work at a pace that respects your readiness, while gently exploring what may be beneath patterns that feel stuck or repetitive. Over time, this process often supports greater clarity, emotional connection, and internal stability.
